What is this handbasket we’re in, and where is it going?

Givin’ ’em a gobful

Paul Hogan, who brought us those delightful Crocodile Dundee movies, is under the gun back in the old GAFA for tax reasons. What’s more, the Australian Taxation Office has enlisted the help of our very own Internal Revenue Service in nabbing this Aussie hoodlum.

When approached by reporters, Hogan had this to say: “Come and get me, you miserable bastards.” Truly, an inspiration to us all.

Why on God’s green Earth our government would help Australia collect taxes from Hogan, who lives in California, is beyond me. He should by all rights have to deal with the American tax code, which is no piece of piss.

Hogan also took the time to warn the ATO that when they come to get him to beware, “I have a gun.”

I thought he’d pull out this old chestnut for sure –

  1. “which is no piece of piss”
WtH is this? If you musts use a scatological reference, can you come up with one that makes some sort of sense?

  2. It’s clear to me, mother, that you are not up to snuff on your Australian slang. I assure you that “piece of piss” is a turn of phrase, much akin to “easy as pie” in meaning. But thanks anyway ;)!
